MKSS with the support of MLAA settled amicably through its workers about 500 cases of women arising out of rape, dowry extortion, polygamy, divorce and land disputes and working to ensure the rights of the disadvantaged target groups
Gender Equity: With the support of the Royal Embassy of the Netherlands through Steps Towards Development/STD. MKSS imparted training to 180 poor women and 20 elites of society on gender equity.
Arbitration : During the last three years, the arbitration workers of MKSS in collaboration with Madaripur Legal Aid Association amicably settled about 500 women’s cases arising from rape, dowry-extortion, arbitrary divorce, polygamy, land disputes and compensation claims.
